School clubs are invaluable hubs of learning and shared interests fostering a sense of community among students. These clubs offer a diverse array of opportunities for academic pursuits like Science, IT, and literature clubs. Each club becomes a prototype of passion and collaboration providing a platform for students to develop skills, form lasting friendships, and contribute meaningfully to their school environment. These clubs not only enrich the educational experience but also cultivate a sense of belonging and personal growth, moulding students into well-rounded individuals with the decoration of interests and talents.

The BVPS  clubs program divides students according to their interests into groups focusing on different areas. The clubs may work with external organizations and experts to provide hands-on experience for the students in various are cross-grade interest groups that enable students to engage deeply and learn about a selected specialist area.

Science Club

In BVPS, the Science Club stands as a dynamic platform where curiosity and innovation budding scientific discussion and collaborative experiments. Students engage in a spectrum of activities from conducting exciting experiments to participating in science fairs and competitions.

The Science club not only amplifies the academic understanding of scientific concepts but also nurtures a spirit of inquiry and problem-solving. Socio Environmental Club

Kids can learn about some of the most important activities of the twenty-first century through our school’s environmental club, which also encourages them to take care of the environment and their neighbourhood. To maximize exposure, clubs will implement a single large design. In order to teach every student about the present environmental concerns, we organize an Environmental Awareness Day, which involves taking the students on field visits to nearby zoos or nature reserves and planting trees.

Math Club

Musical Band

NCC

At BVPS, we take pride in fostering holistic development among our students. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) program plays a crucial role in instilling discipline, leadership, and a sense of national service in our young minds. Our school boasts a vibrant NCC unit that is committed to nurturing responsible and patriotic individuals. The NCC program is open to students from various streams, providing them with a platform to develop essential life skills like Leadership Development, Discipline and Fitness, Community Service, Activities and Events.

Throughout the academic year, our NCC unit organizes a range of activities and events. These include Annual Camps, Parades and Ceremonies, Social Outreach Programs.

Electoral Club

During the Investiture Ceremony, student leaders are bestowed with badges and sashes, symbolizing the authority and responsibility they carry. This formal recognition is a visible representation of their commitment to upholding the school’s values and contributing positively to the school community.

Beyond the symbolic investiture, the ceremony is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of students in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Brindhavan Vidyalaya follows the traditional House System. There are four Houses. The house serves as a platform for the students to exhibit their skills in various activities. Inter-house matches are held throughout the year for the coveted Sports Shield.

DHEERAN CHINNAMALAI

It is with great pride to name one of our houses after Dheeran Chinnamalai, an illustrious historical figure who is a reflection of our commitment to instilling values of bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication in our students. Dheeran Chinnamalai, a prominent leader during the Indian independence struggle, stood as a symbol of courage and resilience. His commitment to the cause of freedom and his selfless service to the people inspire us to create an environment at Brindhavan Vidyalaya that fosters not just academic excellence but also the development of strong character and leadership qualities. We aim to not only honour the legacy of Dheeran Chinnamalai but also to instill a sense of pride and responsibility in each member

VELU NACHIYAR

Our decision to name one of our houses after the valiant Queen Velu Nachiyar, a symbol of courage, leadership, and indomitable spirit. the house embodies the principles of resilience, determination, and a commitment to justice. Queen Velu Nachiyar’s legacy is one of remarkable bravery and unwavering resolve, making her a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. As members of Velu Nachiyar House, they strive to embody these qualities in our academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, and interactions within our school community. Just as Velu Nachiyar fearlessly led her people, we aim to lead by example in both our studies and our character. This house is a place where every student feels empowered to rise above challenges, embrace diversity, and contribute positively to our school’s vibrant tapestry.

KATTABOMAN

We take pride in fostering a sense of history, valour, and resilience in our students. It is with great honour that we named a house after Kattabomman, the legendary freedom fighter and noble ruler. Kattabomman, a symbol of unwavering courage and indomitable spirit, played a pivotal role in resisting colonial rule during the 18th century. His legacy continues to inspire generations, embodying the principles of fearlessness, integrity, and the relentless pursuit of justice. As members of Kattabomman House, our students are encouraged to channel the same determination and fearlessness in their academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, and community engagement. The house represents a community where students are not only academically enriched but also imbued with a sense of responsibility and leadership.

VANJI NADHAN

It is our pleasure to name one of our schoolhouses after the illustrious Vanji Nathan. Vanji Nathan was a visionary whose dedication to education and community left an indelible mark on our school’s values. Just as the house reflects his commitment to learning, we aspire to instil those very principles in the students who become a part of Vanji Nathan House. At Brindhavan Vidyalaya, we believe in fostering a sense of community, unity, and excellence, and we are confident that Vanji Nathan’s legacy will inspire our students to reach new heights in academics, character, and leadership.
